Women's World Championships Gold Medal Game Today

Today at 12PM EST/9AM PST Canada faces off against USA once again at the Women's World Hockey Championships.

Canada edged the Americans 2-1 on Friday in a gold medal game preview. That game was described as "a thriller."

Canada has been led offensively by Haley Wickenheiser and defenseman Carla MacLeod, both with 8 points. USA's Julie Chu and Natalie Dwaritz both have 9 points, while Hilary Knight is having an exceptional tournament with 6 goals in 4 games.

Almost as important as the gold medal will be bragging rights heading into next year's Olympics in Vancouver. That will make for high stakes and one hell of a hockey game today. A true hockey fan will have this game on his television today.
