Jagr Leaves NHL

Jaromir Jagr is leaving the NHL.

The 36 year old Czech winger has signed with the Russian hockey team Avangard Omsk. Financial details are not confirmed, but reports peg Jagr's salary at an amazing $35 million (US) over 2 years, with a third year option.

Omsk also boasts former NHLer goaltender John Grahame. Pavel Rosa and Pavel Vorobiev also have NHL experience.

Jagr's best NHL days may be behind him, but make no mistake folks, "Mario Jr." was one of the NHL's all time greats. Here's to you, JJ...
