Quebecois Idol

There may not have been two more worshiped hockey players in all of Quebec in the 1990s than goaltenders Patrick Roy and Manon Rheaume. Both were the best at their craft, and both were headline grabbers.

They made all of Quebec proud. Soon many followers would don the pads and blocker and comprise the strongest generation of Quebec goaltending heroes - both in terms of the NHL and women's hockey.

But who served as Patrick Roy's and Manon Rheaume's idol when they were growing up? The answer for both is none other than Atlanta Flames/Quebec Nordiques puck stopper Daniel Bouchard.

Dan Bouchard is the most recent addition to GreatestHockeyLegends.com.
