Brother vs Brother - Tony and Phil Esposito

On December 5th, 1969 the Montreal Canadiens gave rookie goalie Tony Esposito his first NHL start. Yes, the great goalie Tony Esposito started his career in Montreal. He would play 13 games with the Habs before moving to Chicago.

That first game, though, was a real highly. Not only was it his first game in the NHL, but he was facing his brother Phil and the Boston Bruins. The game ended in a 2-2 tie and, of course, both Boston goals were scored by Phil - brother vs brother.
