Celebrities In Hockey Jerseys

Colleague Sergei Averyanov sent this along my way. Its 1970s British singer/songwriter Leo Sayers singing his famous ballad "When I Need You." And Sayers is wearing an authentic Buffalo Sabres jersey with Rene Robert's name and number on the back!

This appears to count as the official music video for this song. Remember, this was from 1977 and music videos as we know them today basically did not exist.

Let's take a look at some other celebrities wearing hockey jerseys....

Freddie Mercury of Queen
Axl Rose of Guns 'N Roses

Hockey super fan Alyssa Milano

It's MacGyver sporting the Calgary Flames hat!

Ozzy Osbourne's mug shot

Cameron Frye of Ferris Bueller fame

Snoop Dogg, or whatever he calls himself nowadays

The Immortal Hulk Hogan

A young David Letterman

The incomparable Alice Cooper rocking the Team Finland jersey!
Shania Twain!
Michael J. Fox
A bearded Phil Collins posing with Genesis

I rank player ability as the third most important ingredient, as first and foremost as a tie breaker. Hence, I'm not necessarily looking for the better player, as in text book definitions of what a hockey player should be, but for players with the greatest careers and greatest legacies.
