Oh San Jose.
Hockey's perennial contenders that never seem to get anywhere come playoff time have somehow blown a 3-0 series and now find themselves forced to play a game 7 on Wednesday.
But let's give full credit to LA. The Kings have become only the ninth team in NHL history to force a Game 7 after going down 3-0 to start a series.
Now before Kings fans get too excited, only 3 of the previous 8 series saw a fully successful comeback. The Kings have impressively overcome adversity but their job is not done yet.
In fact, the Sharks did a similar collapse back in 2011. They went up 3-0 on Detroit back then. They then lost 3 straight, only to finally close the series with a 3-2 win in game 7.
Game 7 against the Kings goes Wednesday night at the HP Pavillion in San Jose.
