Sunday marked the last time we will ever see Teemu Selanne play a regular season game in the NHL. It is also very possible that Colorado Avalanche goaltender Jean Sebastien Giguere, who just happens to be the all time winningest goalie in Anaheim Ducks history, has played his last regular season game.
So when the Avalanche and Ducks met in the final game of the regular season, there was no surprise that Selanne would be honoured. The Ducks also made a nice thank you to Giguere, which Selanne took to a higher - and unexpected - level after the game.
