The 'theme' is a tune called 'The Nutty' which has it's origins in the ballet 'The Nutcracker' which is of course, a Christmas staple in Boston and New York. The tune you hear on the video was a rock rendition by 'The Ventures'. It played before the Bruins games on TV38 (before there was ESPN or COMCAST, Sportschannel, etc.) there was this little alternative broadcast station in Boston that televised the Bruins and Red Sox games, wrestling matches, and of course 'The Three Stooges' ... we watched this on an old Black-and-White TV for a couple of years before they broadcast in color !!!
