Good timing. Sounds like today the name "Pelicans" has become part of the lexicon of North American pro sports.
There already was a "Pelicans" in hockey, of course, over in Finland. That's where current OKC Baron Antti "Social" Tyrvainen learned his trade. While you're in the mood for comic videos, check out this Finnish promo for the Pelicans, starring Tyrvainen himself. Goofy would approve.
