I hate that trade even today. I don't care that Tiger and Butler played a part in the club's making the '82 final -- the franchise had always been searching for some true, home-made offensive stars and gave away both Vaive and Delgado for a premier public enemy No. 1 who bordered on a circus act. No doubt many won't have the same recollection as I do, but after the Neely handoff, this was the worst trade imho the club ever made...
