Canucks Jerseys Are Hot

Canucks jerseys are undoubtedly amongst the hottest selling collectibles in hockey nowadays. It helps that their jerseys are quite attractive right now, which is not something that can be said for much of the franchise's history.

But check these two jerseys out: Few Canucks fans would recognize either of these two beauties:

Before the Canucks joined the National Hockey League, the franchise existed in an old, high quality professional league from 1945 through 1969 called the Western Hockey League (not to be confused with the junior league). Notable WHL Canucks players include Don Cherry, Tony Esposito, Andy Bathgate, Johnny Bower, Allan Stanley, Gump Worsley, and Phil Maloney.

The first jersey pictured was used in the 1950s. The second jersey is from 1969. They are among 9 Vancouver Canucks items currently available from Classic Auctions. Either jersey would make for a great conversation starter.

Here's a look at the Canucks NHL jersey history.
