I liked Six Shooters about the Sutter Brothers.
I also liked Oldtimers by Gary Mason. He wrote about joining NHL legends on a playing tour.
One other would be Shorthanded, which is the story of the California Golden Seals.
It seems there aren't as many books on hockey as other sports, but those out there are very good.
Oh and Gross Misconduct, the story of Brian Spencer.

I think River of Champions is a really excellent read. It's a true story about 10 teenage boys and their trials and tribulations on their ride fame and glory. It is now available at Kindle ebooks.
