I got to meet him last spring at a store opening here in Duluth, MN. He seemed very cool and signed a few cards for me and a picture that he brought along to give out along with taking a picture with me. He also had on display something that I know that I will never see again his 1980 Olympic gold medal. It was surprisingly plain looking, but historic all at the same time. he also had his Stanley Cup ring on display.
