Former NHL goalie Martin Gerber has been seriously injured in a game in the KHL.
Gerber, who now plays with Atlant Moscow, fractured either his third or fourth cervical vertebra (conflicting reports) after a collision with a player from Vityaz Chekhov. He may be hospitalized as long as 2 months.
Further diagnosis will occur on Monday.
