Weekend Reading: Norm Ullman

When you name the greatest players in Detroit Red Wings history, and there are a lot of them, I bet the one name that rarely gets any mention is that of Norm Ullman.

Ullman was the Ron Francis of his day, quietly excelling in what amounted into one of the most under-appreciated Hall of Fame careers in hockey history.

Here's Norm Ullman with Gordie Howe in this 1965 issue of Hockey Pictorial Magazine.
