Back From Camping

Since Monday I've been out camping at beautiful Kleanza Creek Provincial Park here in northern BC. When it is 30 degrees outside, a bit of a rarity in my neck of the woods, there is no better place in all of Hockeyville to be. Just don't tell anyone. I like the seclusion.

I trekked back into town just to watch game 3 of the Stanley Cup finals. I was happy that Pittsburgh won, and I was ecstatic that there was no overtime. That meant I could get back out to the campground. One of the great things about living as far north as I do is it stays light until 11pm this time of year, so I had lots of great camping time.

Now that I'm refreshed, I'm ready to finish off the NHL season and begin a busy summer of hockey, along with more camping and hiking. I hope to have some major announcements on the hockey front in the near future.
