Christmas Memories: Christmas Music

The holiday season is upon us, and I wanted to change things up a bit and help us get into the Christmas spirit.

If I told you one of my favorite Christmas songs was sung by The Royal Guardsmen and was about Snoopy and the Red Baron, many of you would not believe me.

I found a YouTube creation, combining classic Peanuts video footage with the music, a Christmas gift from a daughter to her mother. It's really well done. Enjoy the following video, but pay close attention to lyrics.

What would Christmas be without holiday music. I know many claim they hate Christmas music, largely because they are inundated with it in every store and mall starting in early November. I understand that, trust me, I worked in retail long enough to know first hand. But deep down everyone likes Christmas music, and here's a few more of my favorites. Click on the various links for more YouTube Christmas carols!

Bing Crosby - White Christmas
Andy Williams - It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year
Manhattan Transfer - Santa Medley - As seen on Home Improvement even!
Bon Jovi - Please Come Home For Christmas - Cindy Crawford is so hot.
Perry Como - Home For The Holidays - lip syncing at it's best
Bing Crosby and David Bowie - Little Drummer Boy - The unlikeliest of duos
Chuck Berry - Run Run Rudolph - With real reindeer, nonetheless
