Falla is one of the few gems of the hockey literary world. The former Sports Illustrated writers is best known for his 2001 book Home Ice: Reflections on Backyard Rinks and Frozen Ponds. Falla refers to his new book not as Home Ice's sequel but it's companion volume.
All in all it is a beautiful collection of essays that flow together brilliantly as the author reflects on hockey, life and aging. | Full Review |
