Newfoundland Needs The Cup

When I think of Newfoundland, I think of economic despair and the most amazing scenery anywhere.

But rarely do I think about hockey. But I can attest that Newfoundlanders love their hockey.

This week much has been made about Daniel Cleary's attempt to become the first Newfoundlander to bring home the Stanley Cup. Newfoundland has only produced 25 NHL players, but they are fiercely proud of each and every one of them.

Especially Alex Faulkner, the first Newfie to make to the NHL.

In the history of GreatestHockeyLegends.com, Alex Faulkner ranks in the top then of the most read player biographies of all time. That's quite the feat considering there is 800 some legends profiled here.

Me thinks everyone in Newfoundland has accessed the Alex Faulkner biography by now.

By the way, you'll never guess who is the most accessed biography here at GreatestHockeyLegends.com. I'll tell you in the coming days.
