Four Goals In A Period

Nowadays it is tough to imagine one team scoring 4 goals in a playoff game. So that makes Tim Kerr's feat on this date back in 1985 even more impressive:

The Philadelphia Flyers center set a new playoff record by scoring four goals in one period, eclipsing the mark of three held by many players. Kerr scored the four goals in the second period of a 6-5 win over the New York Rangers. Three of Kerr’s goals were scored on the power-play, also setting a new record.
