Tom Johnson 1928-2007

Tom Johnson was an overshadowed star player with the Montreal Canadiens for the Montreal Canadiens, playing for some of the greatest teams in hockey history, including the Canadiens of 1956-60 who won 5 straight Stanley Cups.

He would late go on to become at top hockey executive for many more years with the Boston Bruins. He was often spotted wearing bow ties and toking on thick cigars

Tom Johnson dedicated his whole life to hockey. I'm sad to say his life ended today, November 22nd 2007. His heart failed while at his home in Falmouth, Mass.
