Will Scott Niedermayer Retire?

Winning is all Scott Niedermayer has ever known.

He now has four Stanley Cup titles in a Hall of fame career that also saw him win a world junior gold, a Memorial Cup title, a men's world championship gold, an Olympic gold and a World Cup of Hockey title - the only player in hockey history to have won all six titles.

Fueled by the way he clung to celebration with his mother, brother, wife and children, there have been whispers that Scott Niedermayer might surprise all of us and retire this summer. After all, he has absolutely nothing left to accomplish.

He does have 6.75 million reasons to return for the final year of his contract, but Scott Niedermayer might find going out on top may be worth a heck of a lot more than money.
