Hartford Whalers Channel Added

Joe Pelletier's Legends of Hockey Network is pleased to announce the unveiling of another new channel: Hartford Whalers Legends.

The Whalers started out in the WHA, known as the New England Whalers. They were a strong team in the WHA, led by Gordie Howe and sons Mark and Marty, Mike Rogers.

In 1979-80 the Whalers became part of the National Hockey League. Blaine Stoughton became an early star, but the Whalers franchise will always be synonymous with one player: Ron Francis.
