Hockey's Walk of Fame

Robert over at Eyes On The Prize has an interesting story of four hockey history loving natives of Montreal trying to create a Hockey Walk of Fame.

The current plan is to make a hockey walk of fame on sidewalks from the Bell Centre to the old Forum, to the site of the former Victoria Rink (at Drummond and René-Lévesque) and to McGill's Roddick Gates, all considered important sites in the history of hockey.

City council and the Montreal Canadiens are reportedly very interested in seeing this idea turned into reality.

The group has had less success in other endeavors, namely refurbishing Victoria Rink (now home of a car rental operation) and opening a hockey them park across the street from the Bell Centre.
