Hull of a night in St. Louis

Tuesday night will mark the retiring of legend's jersey in St. Louis. Brett Hull returns with much fanfare.

Kevin Allen of USA Today has a great article about Hull's life in retirement. I particularly enjoyed this quote:
"What I always say is that I have a Blue note tattooed on my heart, but that doesn't mean there isn't room for other tattoos," he said.
The 754 goal scorer's best years came as a Blue. Paired with Adam Oates, Hull scored a career-best 86 goals in 1990-91. He also had season totals of 72, 70, 57 and 54. But the "Golden Brett" enjoyed Stanley Cup championships later in his career with Dallas and Detroit.

YouTube captured Hockey Night In Canada's weekend interview with Hull. The footage includes some great archival footage.
