Buffalo Sabres Legends Debuts

As promised, Legends of the Buffalo Sabres is the newest channel here at the Legends of Hockey Network.

Legends of the Buffalo Sabres is the biggest channel debut here at the Legends of Hockey Network. The channel immediately features 22 profiles of Buffalo Sabres greats, ranging from all eras.

Fans from the 1970s will of course be interested in The French Connection, Gilbert Perreault, Rick Martin, and Rene Robert, not to mention colorful characters like Rick Dudley and Jim Lorentz.

More recent fans will want to reminisce about the likes of Pat LaFontaine and Tom Barrasso.

Not a fan of the Sabres? Don't worry. The opening of the Sabres Legends channel also brings legends to other areas as well:

Don Edwards - A highly underrated goalie, Edwards delivered steady goaltending to the Sabres in the late 1970s, and later did the same in Calgary

Don Lever - With a nose for the net, Don Lever was one of the most popular Canucks of the 1970s..

Dave Dryden - Ken Dryden's brother was best remembered as an Edmonton Oiler in the WHA, but also found success in the NHL with the Sabres.

Real Cloutier - This Quebec Nordiques superstar finished his career in Buffalo.

Dale McCourt - One of the most important figures in NHL draft history, McCourt was a bit of a bust in the National Hockey League.
