How time flies. About 8 years ago I started fooling around with this thing called the Internet. One of my earliest projects was an old website called Hockey Over Time, where Patrick Houda and I profiled as many retired NHL and international hockey players as we could. We eventually had close to 1200 players profiled before we closed that down.
But biographies continue to be something I am extremely interested in. And that old website was in many ways my launchpad for many of my opportunities since then. It allowed me to learn about the internet, about publishing, about promotion and about the need for communication. It also allowed me to learn how to write, and how to research. Perhaps most importantly it taught me and the viewers about hockey history.
So in honor of the site, and in honor of the hockey heroes of yesterday, I am pleased to announce the rebirth of Hockey Over Time. http://www.legendsofhockey.blogspot.com/ allows me to feature hockey players on a regular basis. It will allow great user participation as well, as discussions are archived and encouraged.
So I invite you all to http://www.legendsofhockey.blogspot.com/ Feedback and spreading the word is greatly welcomed!

Great work!
I can't believe that you've only been doing this for eight years - somehow in my memory, you'd been around the web at least as long as I had. But time flies regardless!
Keep up the good work.
Thanks,
Doug

I just found your blog - very qualified and well written (although I found some bugs). Keep up the good work and good luck with attracting more and more hockey-positive readers.
Keep up the Good works

I just scratch my head with the way the NHL presents itself today. HD is such a gift to the game. Hockey is the worst sport to watch on TV but, the best sporting event to see in person. HD makes it so much more enjoyable but, the leauge show less than half the game in Hi Def. Excuse my rant. Thanks for the site!
Thank you for any information.
Keep up the great work.
Dmitry.

Just read your blog for the first time and enjoyed reading about Mush March I lived on the westside of Chicago as a kid and went to the hockey games with my Mom. When they tore down the Old Stadium I bought a red wooden stadium chair that is autographed by Mush March but I never knew who he was... thanks for your hard work and your enthusiasm.
