Welcome to Joe Hockey.
My name is Joe Pelletier. I am a hockey researcher with special interest in international hockey and hockey player biographies. I am the author of two books: The Legends of Team Canada, and The World Cup of Hockey. I have also written for Team Canada, The Hockey News, the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Buffalo Sabres, the Columbus Blue Jackets, Hockey Digest, Canadian Hockey Magazine among others. But my favorite project is 1972 Summit Series.com.
Now I am venturing into the wonderful world of blogs. Here I want to share biographies of my favorite hockey players. You will find an eclectic mix. I will feature the great, the forgotten, and the never known.

Joe,
I was thinking about Hockey Over Time not so long ago as I began putting together some information for www.vintageicehockey.com (not much to look at yet...).
I am very happy to see you use the blog to get some of these great bios back up on the web!
Good luck with the blog and I hope I have the time to be a constant blogger here on this particular, well, blog!
Here's to my NY Rangers finally getting to play some games in the postseason!
And great bio on Boom Boom!
